Articulate Austin is a six-month pilot program, led by Esther Bramlett and Devon Adams.
This program seeks to generate investment in dance
not just as a performance-based but as a process-based art form, with the understanding that all art is informed by its individual
creators, performers, and audience.
This year, we are hosting three free public works-in-progress through spring and summer 2018, culminating in a final performance September 7-9.
We need your help.
We make the dance. You bring your brains. Together, our community grows and improves.
We'd love for you to attend a showing, show up at our fundraiser, and come to our final performance! When you come, be prepared to think about what you're seeing--no dance experience required. We are interested in the questions you have, ideas for improvement, and the space between what we create and what you recieve.
This project is supported in part by the Cultural Arts Division of the City of Austin Economic Development Department and is fiscally sponsored by ARCOS Foundation for the Arts.
